Hugo Lucero Albeno, 43, was spotted swerving on Richmond Highway by another motorist around 8:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, according to Ryan Wilbur, spokesperson for the county sheriff's office.

First Sergeant A.I. Assur found him at the Warrenton Road intersection.

Lucero Albeno had clear signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming one beer, Wilbur said.

"In an attempt to prove his sobriety, the driver without being prompted, imitated the classic Ralph Macchio stance to try and conduct a crane kick. Unlike Daniel-san, this would not end in a victory," Wilbur added.

"The driver’s karate lessons involving sweeping the leg and having no mercy would need to wait."

Lucero Albeno was charged with driving under the influence, drinking while driving, and refusal. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
